Christmas...

What it is all about?
I truly believe that it is all about the peace and the kids exciting expressions....
My 4 year old daughter was so super excited when she saw that Santa had stopped by, ate her cookies, drank the milk she put out for him and left her a lot of presents. =)
She and her 2 year old sister got to open them after a few yummy homemade cinnamon rolls and played with them all day long with only a few fights. The house smelled like ham and cinnamon and the stress-level was close to zero for a change.
I actually didn't want Christmas to end this year... Not at all.

Before we all got stuffed with Christmas dinner we took this Family Photo. <3 I'm actually surprised it turned out that well, because we had to use the remote-controll for this Portrait.

I'm kind of hoping that I will be having my mom, her bf and my sister over for Christmas 2012. And maybe "MAYBE" my dad and her gf. But i doubt that will ever happen.... My parents with their new partners in one room...? Nah, but I do believe in Miracles and hope that I will be able to get them all together for at least one Christmas.

Oh Tannenbaum

...and tomorrow will be Christmas eve. But this year we will be celebrating Christmas the American way. Which means my poor daughters will have to wait till Sunday to open their presents.
All those years they could open them up on the 24th late afternoon. Not this time. =)
Even I feel like a little child, I just can't wait to see their faces when they get to open all the presents. <3

I noticed a lack of pictures of the kids and husband, so I try to do better.

Hallo....

Maybe some people know me as Carry's Photography.
I decided to take the personal part of my business blog and start a new one. One that is only about my life with my family and the military.
I will post thoughts, share recipes and maybe even some free crochet patterns.
So let's get crackin'. =)

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Today is the very first day of snow that actually kind of stays. I'm usually not a big fan of snow, but this close to Christmas I'm actually a little excited about it. The Christmastree will be a real one this year and is already waiting outside. We will put it up tomorrow... Our oldest daughter can't wait. Especially since Daddy is here this time, so we can all decorate it together, as a family. <3
